Halloween

Félix was the Green Lantern. Prescott...well, I thought he meant Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers.

New Chair

Papi got out the boys' highchair this morning. Meal time has been slightly more fun for Mommy who no longer has to eat one-handed!

Old San Juan

The boys and Mommy went in to Old San Juan today. Mommy is doing the maternity photos for Titi Vero so we were scoping out spots. We stopped for a rest on a bench in Mommy's favorite courtyard!

Candy!

Guess which two boys got caught taking candy from the Halloween stash tonight?

Félix is still sick so he and Prescott are not allowed to play together right now and therefore there are no pictures of them today. Prescott helped me pick out today's picture from our 'archives.' He likes to go to the mall fountain on Fridays while we wait for the bank to open.

Sick :(

Our little Félix was very, very sick today. He had a fever of 103 and wouldn't eat anything. We had to go to the doctors and put ice packs on his little tiny body. Our happy little boy was grumpy all day long and Mommy could just tell he didn't feel well. This picture was right before bedtime - his temperature has fallen but we have to keep checking on him all night long. Prescott is waiting patiently for Félix to feel good enough to play again!

Carrying The Torch

Carrying the Olypmic torch - we decided to start a couple years early since Félix isn't really mobile yet.

Bath Time!

The boys are getting used to the paparazzi by now. You can tell by Félix's resigned look.

At The Doctors'

The boys had to go to the doctors' office today for some vaccines. Prescott was trying to help Félix "gain" a couple of pounds.

Home Sick

Today Papi wasn't feeling well so he came home early. The boys watched Batman while Mommy got a little nap in!

Boo!

The boys are gearing up for their first Halloween! Félix insists on climbing into his candy bag and Prescott rolls his eyes every time it happens. Prescott is holding a little pumpkin that one of Papi's students knitted for him!

Sleepy Boys

The boys had a LONG day today. They woke up at 5:15am for a bottle, 6:40am for the day, and only took one short nap during the morning. When we went out to lunch they tried to keep their eyes open but eventually curled up together and fell asleep.

Store Trip

I told the boys we needed to make a run to Costco today. Félix was not so thrilled (as you can see). Prescott was quite excited, however!

Nuestro Bombero Favorito

Today the boys went to the Fire Station. Sargent Flores gave us a tour of the station and then posed for LOTS of pictures with the boys. They climbed on the engine, explored all the equipment and even got to sit in the driver's seat! More pictures will be uploaded here later today!

It's All Greek To Me

Today the boys were pretending to be Greek. Félix told me he was Archimedes of Syracuse and Prescott was Euclid. Then they wanted to know if they could have some π.

Birthday Bash

The boys had a LONG day. Here they are playing at their friend's birthday party at Romp N' Roll. The big kids were "driving" around but since the boys don't have licenses yet they chilled on the wedge mat. Félix fell asleep during the cake so only Prescott got to try it. Then we headed out to Luquillo to visit the Abuelos. The boys took an early bath and fell asleep in less than 5 minutes tonight!

Drying Off

The boys had a 17th birthday party to go to today. Mommy ran around the house like a crazy person getting everything together. Ten minutes after getting into the car she realized that Prescott was still in the crib at home. Tomorrow they have another party so hopefully Mommy will be more "together" then!

Waiting at the Bank

The boys sleep wait patiently for the bank to open.

Bar-b-que

The boys told me they wanted to make up some good ol' fashion NC Bar-b-que today. I explained to them that it's cooked in a pit oven. They wouldn't hear of it. Then I reminded them that neither of them eats meat.

Pool Time

The boys begged me to take them to the pool today. The had already gotten out their goggles and diving sticks. Unfortunately it looks like rain so we'll have to try some other day! (Prescott had goggles, Félix just kept taking them off).

Board Games

The boys broke out the board games today and I walked in during the tail-end of Yahtzee. Félix won...notice the celebratory fist pump?

The boys were playing Leap Frog today on our bed. Félix thought he had to dress like a frog. Prescott says he couldn't make it over Félix because dinosaurs don't jump high.

Tummy Time

The doctor says Félix has to practice tummy time. He does NOT cooperate and writhes and cries on the floor. Prescott, of course, behaves quite well. Today Nic (black cat in the background) showed his support of tummy time by participating also.

Sailing the Seven Seas

The boys set out to sail the Seven Seas in their seaworthy vessel (from their Abuelos) and the sailor hat (from Grammie & Grandpy). Shortly after this picture Félix spit up - he claims it was seasickness!
