Teething?

We think the boys may be teething. Félix seems to like chewing on his teether, Prescott seems to enjoy chewing on Félix. Good thing he doesn't have any teeth yet!

Good News and Bad News

The good news: Mommy finally achieved her lifelong goal of becoming a Disney Princess! 

The bad news: She's Snow White and Grumpy came for an extended visit today.

Our Papi

The boys wanted to post a picture of them with Papi today. They also came up with a list called Why We Love Papi. Here it is:

1) He plays music and sings to us when we're fussy
2) He gives us baths at night when Mommy is working
3) He makes us smile
4) He always makes sure there are diapers & formula in the house
5) He changes our stinky diapers
6) He goes to work to make money even though he'd rather stay at home and play with us
7) He makes sure we have clean clothes to wear
8) He loves our Mommy, gives her kisses, and tells her that she's pretty
9) He picks us up and snuggles with us when we cry
10) He shows us how to be gentlemen when we grow up

Outlet Shopping

Mommy and Papi took the boys shopping at the outlets today. Mommy got some new tennis shoes for working out - her old ones are too small after the pregnancy!

Lunch Out

The boys' abuelos came to town today to visit take the family to lunch!

Today was an interesting day - every time Félix practiced his tummy time Prescott would jump on his back and say "Ride 'um cowboy!" He insists that cowboys ride on cows, not horses.

Prescott picked out the car he'd like when he turns 16. Félix is slightly worried about the cost.

Bisabuelo

This morning the boys' great-grandfather passed away. They both are so preciously sleeping in this picture that it makes me remember how beautiful life is. Today I am reminded of how quickly it can end - please tell your parents, grandparents, children, and family how much they mean to you and spend some time just enjoying the company of those you love.

*For Félix when he grows older: Bisabuelo (who was bald) used to always look at you and say "He has more hair than I do!"

The whole family went to El Morro today. Félix and Prescott wanted to have their picture taken with Roberto, the on staff ranger. He was nice enough to oblige!

Baptism

As promised, here is a picture from Saturday's baptism. This is one of the only two photos on the blog not taken by me (Mommy). Matt Golley of APV Photography was kind enough to shoot the baptism for free. What a great guy!

Sorry for the late post today - It was Félix's baptism and we've been busy all day. I didn't have time to take any photos there and our photographer wanted a couple of days to edit the photos. Those should be coming by the middle of next week! Prescott attended but didn't get baptized. He was worried that the water would mess up his "do!"

Translation: Our great grandfather fell and has to have surgery tomorrow to fix his hip. What can doctors Félix and Prescott do to help?
